Gunma Flower Park

The park is 18.4 ha of perfectly manicured gardens. Be sure to allow several hours to see all of them. The inner gardens of the park are carefully laid out spreads flowers in exciting shapes and colorful patterns. The park is centered around a strip of fountains and an intriguing Park Tower. The view from the tower is not to be missed and allows an incredible photo opportunity. You can fully see all the dazzling landscape designs and understand the layout of the park. There is also a lovely view down the valley to Maebashi and beyond.
On the west side of the park is a series of large green houses with plants from various climates. There is one full of all kinds of cacti. Another features orchids. A third is jungle themed. One merely has common garden plants.
The extensive playground at Gunma Flower Park is unquestionable evidence of how much Japan loves its children. Along with a set of traditional playground equipment, there is an inflated bubble for them to bounce on and a low hedge maze explore. There are underground tunnels burrowing through a hill and a long slide made of rolling tubes. It is a perfect place to sightsee with the family.
If you should get hungry while enjoying Gunma Flower Park, there are a few cafes and food stands. There is also an agricultural produce stand at the main entrance, so you can grab a healthy green snack on your way in, or do a bit of grocery shopping on your way out.
There is an entrance fee that depends on the time of year, with the warmer seasons being a tad more expensive. However, Gunma Flower Park is so expansive and beautiful, it is well worth it.
