Sakura-gicho at night

Simplicity is one of my criteria of making a place my favorite. Sakura-gicho has an enormous simplicity that you can’t describe. Maybe because it has no too much artificial colors but the greens of nature and simple colored lights invades the entire place. The place is not too over decorated and surely you can still enjoying breathing the cool breeze of evening. You could just stare at the waters near the beautiful, unique-shaped buildings, or you can stare at the colorful, attractive to the eyes rides of Cosmo World while eat at a distance restaurant in the 4th floor of Queen’s Square at your hotel.
This place has a different look in the evening but the cozy environment still remain that could make you wish for love one hugging you close. I find Sakura-gicho more romantic to look at in the evening. You can walk around the streets under clear skies without any pollution and just enjoy the cheerful atmosphere. If I have to rate this place I would have it set to 10. I wish you could see this beauty the way I see it, worth of all the struggles of train ride from Tokyo.

I lived near Noge which is just on the other side of 16 and the JR Sakuragicho station. The shiny lights of Minato Mirai 21 provide a good backdrop for Noge which is a far more fulfilling Japanese style drinking district. I can give detailed directions to some of my more favorite destinations. All easily recognizable even to the most inebriated. ;)
