Days of Dreams and Magic

Days of Dreams and Magic
Last January, my husband and I went to Tokyo Disneyland. First, we went to Westernland where we had Tom Sawyer Adventure. We got on a boat going to a small island where Indian Camps and villages were found. We crossed a hanging bridge and barrel bridge. We got on a train going around the forest and Mark Twain ship going around the island. Then, we got on Big Thunder Mountain, and had our lunch in a restaurant.

After lunch, we went to Adventure Land where we got on a boat for a jungle cruise. Because I was afraid, I refused to get on the Splash Mountain ride in Critter Country. Then, we went to Fantasy Land where I experienced things I haven't had when I was a kid. I enjoyed Toontown where I had the chance to take pictures with my favorite cartoon characters. I was amazed by Virtual Microadventure in Tomorrowland. My husband bought me a silver ring with a mickey mouse design at the World Bazzar.

Our day was really lots of fun and excitement and then at 6:00 o'clock in the evening, we watched a Light Show Parade. At 7:30 in the evening, we got on the monorail to go to have our dinner in an Italian restaurant because my husband likes Italian food very much. Then, we returned to the the Disneyland Resort and checked in to Hotel Mira Costa. When we arrived in our suite room we felt good because of the ambiance of the room. At that night, I felt melancholic about my parents in the Philippines I wished they were also with us enjoying life.

The next day, we got up early, had our breakfast and went to Disney Sea. We watched shows of cartoon characters and had a chance to take pictures with them. We went to Mediterranean Harbor where we saw Fortress Exploration, and Venetian Gondola where we got on a boat and went around to a place that was very similar to Italy. We watched a marvelous show such as Legend of Michica where I was being thrilled by the excellent performances. We went to Port Discovery where we got on Storm Rider. We went to American Waterfront and entered the Tower of Terror where I felt little bit sick of the 'free fall'. We went to Lost River Delta where we had Indiana Jones Adventure. We went to Arabian Coast, watched Magic Show and had our lunch. We went inside the Mermaid lagoon and watched Ariel's Show. After long days of walking, strolling and playing we felt exhausted and went back to the hotel, took a little rest and checked out. Then, we went to shops and bought some souvenirs.

While we were on our way home, my husband told me that our days of dreams and magic were over. "We were now in a real world awakened from a very beautiful dream", I told him.
