I understand that after several days of work, we must have time to pamper ourselves. We must refresh ourselves and liven up before another challenging week. We must loosen up to fade away all the stresses that make us weak and unproductive. Go out and look around your surroundings, find green scenery and surely you will find relaxing feelings. You can go to a park near your home.

That is what we did one beautiful Sunday. We went to Miyagase Dam Park in Sagamihara City to chill out. While I was in the car, a few minutes before we reach the park, passing the whirling road, my tears suddenly rushed down my cheeks because of what I was seeing. The mountains covered with different trees were being shown to me from outside the window. I was touched by its beauty and its simplicity. I have already climbed a mountain in Japan but it was the first time that I felt sentimental. Maybe that mountain has something special.

When we arrived at the park, I realized that the scenery I had seen on the way were just an introduction to the real beauty of the park. There were many people around the park, families, lovers and friends. Everybody was so happy and free, free from worries and anxieties. Everybody was there just to enjoy and be happy. I felt I was in a paradise that everything is so perfect. I had also seen different kinds of blooming beautiful flowers that completed my excitement.

On our way home, we passed at a crowded ice cream shop and we bought different flavors of ice cream. It was really delicious. I felt refreshed and felt ready for the next challenging days.

During workdays, people are usually exposed to pressure of work, traffic, rush hour, etc. and so they tend to sometimes feel fed up with that kind of environment that is why there are many parks in Japan. Because everybody needs to unwind from the long, tiring days of work, with the help of the comforting nature.
